Category Manager (Order & Logistics)

We are hiring a Category Manager – Order & Logistics to lead international procurement and logistics operations for major civil and MEP material categories in Dubai.

Your mandate
Turn sourcing decisions into on-time site delivery, from supplier negotiation and purchase order placement to shipment tracking, customs clearance and material availability.

You will lead
* Global sourcing and supplier negotiations
* Overseas ordering, freight and logistics coordination
* Civil and MEP material procurement
* Cost optimisation, framework agreements and supplier performance
* Market intelligence, compliance and process improvement

You bring
You bring 15+ years of procurement experience within civil construction, contracting or real estate development, with strong exposure to major civil finishes, MEP materials and subcontract packages.

You have hands-on experience managing the complete international order lifecycle from supplier sourcing and negotiation to purchase order placement, shipment tracking, freight coordination, customs clearance and final delivery to site.

You are commercially strong, confident in supplier negotiations and cost optimisation, and experienced in building long-term supplier partnerships. You work effectively with engineering, project, finance, legal and site teams, and are comfortable using ERP systems and procurement reporting tools.

A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field is required. Professional English, additional foreign-language capability and readiness for international travel are essential.
