We’re Hiring Assistant Category Manager – Appliances

This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or retail buying, particularly within home appliances or consumer electronics. You will work closely with the Category Manager to drive sales performance, inventory optimization, vendor coordination, and promotional execution in a large-format retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support execution of category strategies, pricing, and assortment plans
– Analyze sales performance, stock levels, sell-through, and promotions
– Prepare analytical reports using Excel and retail ERP systems
– Coordinate with vendors on orders, pricing support, and promotions
– Support negotiations on commercial terms, rebates, and promotional funding
– Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams on campaigns and launches
– Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends
– Ensure data accuracy across SKUs, pricing, and promotions in ERP systems
– Support inventory planning to reduce stock-outs and aging inventory

Ideal Candidate:
– 3–5 years’ experience in category management / merchandising / retail buying.
– Exposure to appliances or consumer electronics retail
– Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills
– Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
– Strong communication and vendor coordination skills
– Commercially aware, proactive, and eager to grow into a Category Manager role
