Job Position – Sr. Quantity Surveyor

For a reputed contracting company.
Salary : AED 12000 -15000 + Basic Benefits
Location : Dubai, UAE

Requirements:
* Experience in Quantity take-offs for Civil & Building works for multi-storey buildings.
* Dubai Municipality Certified Engineering Professional(Mandatory)
* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity take-offs for civil and building works, with a focus on multi-storey buildings.
* Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil and building works, with a focus on multi-story buildings.
* Analyse project plans and specifications to identify and quantify materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
* Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to gather pricing and cost information.
* Prepare and maintain accurate cost databases and cost models.
* Evaluate and compare quotations and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to project management.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives.
* Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in bid submissions.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
* Stay updated on industry trends and construction cost fluctuations.
* Collaborate with other departments to support project goals and objectives.
